Status Data

  • In 2009, the female faculty constituted 28.13 (18 out of 64) of the STEM faculty versus 34.57 (28 out of 81) at the end of the grant period in 2016 (refer to Table 1). Secondly, female STEM faculty advanced to the professor rank, moving the percentage of female, STEM full professors from 0 to 6.2 between 2009 and 2016 (refer to Table 2). Overall, there has been a clear pattern of slow growth of women in STEM, especially at the highest tenured ranks.
