You Will Learn
Gannon University is proud to offer students a truly exceptional opportunity as we have finalized an agreement with Esslingen University in Germany (near Stuttgart) to be able to offer our students a Dual Degree Program. In combination with a year of study at Esslingen, which includes an internship at a global company, students will receive a degree from Gannon as well as a degree from Esslingen. A truly global opportunity for students wishing to embark on a career in international business. Stuttgart is a world renowned hub for international business, especially centered around the automotive industry (Daimler Benz, Porsche and their supplier networks).
All courses are taught in English.
You Will Experience
The Dahlkemper School of Business is located in the heart of Erie's central business district in the Center for Business Ingenuity, which is within walking distance of major employers, including Fortune 500 companies, financial institutions, leading healthcare providers, nonprofit organizations, sports teams, and federal, state and local government offices. Students will receive hands-on learning working alongside entrepreneurs and business professionals through Gannon's Small Business Development Center and Erie Technology Incubator.
Esslingen University is located near Stuttgart (15 minutes with public transportation), one of the world's leading areas for the automotive industry and manufacturing. Many of the global companies situated in this area have subsidiaries around the world in need of talented management graduates with international experience and motivation. The internship experience via Esslingen University will underscore students' international ambition and managerial expertise. From Daimler Benz, to Porsche, Bosch and Volkswagen and many of their supplier organizations are present in and around Stuttgart.
You Will Achieve
Students obtaining a dual degree from Gannon University and Esslingen University will become proficient in process and quality management as well as some more technical aspects of management in the manufacturing setting. The international experience, which is performed solely in English, can be greatly augmented by the students learning German. Several courses are required in the curriculum, but studying and working in country for a full year allows students to become proficient, at least in conversational and business German. Students will live in international dorms while in Esslingen and have classes with students from a variety of nations and backgrounds.

You Will Study
Students who decide to major in International Management and qualify for the program will receive a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) in International Management from Gannon University and a Bachelors in International Industrial Management from Esslingen University.
