Review all COVID-19 protocols for international travel
to the United States and to Gannon.

international travel into the United States. All of Gannon University’s updates
and policies regarding COVID-19 can be viewed at update.gannon.edu.
Here
are key things you need to know from the CDC and from Gannon:
- Must
be fully vaccinated and are required to show proof of full vaccination series to travel to the United States by
plane if you are a non-U.S. citizen, non-U.S. immigrant. Only limited exceptions apply.
- You
are required to show a negative COVID-19 test result or documentation of
recovery from COVID-19 when you travel to the United States by air.
- If
you are fully vaccinated, you should submit proof of vaccination to
Gannon’s Health Center at this link prior to arrival: update.gannon.edu/vaccinecard
- Unvaccinated
students should arrive
to campus between Dec. 25-27 and will be expected to complete COVID-19 testing
and quarantine for 7 days upon arriving.
- Vaccinated
students should arrive
to campus between Jan. 1-3 and will be tested for COVID-19.
Submit your photo ID.
Save
time when you arrive to campus, submit a photo for your Gannon ID in advance.
Email
your photo and the following information by August 18 to create your Gannon ID:
- First
name
- Last
name
- Gannon
Network ID (e.g. smith001)
- Attach
a photo that is in color and with a plan color background.
- Email
photoid@gannon.edu
Get familiar with Blackboard.
Blackboard
is an online software that will hold all your course information. This is where
your professors will post regular updates, class assignments and more. Before
arriving to campus, login to Blackboard and view the student orientation
following these steps:
- Visit
gannon.blackboard.com and use your Network ID and password to
login.
- Select
the “My GU” tab
- Then
in the “My Courses” module, select “Blackboard Student Orientation”
- Follow
the steps listed in this orientation to learn how to use Blackboard.
Make your tuition and fees payment.
Tuition and fee payments
are due no later than the first day of classes, August 24. If you are unable to
pay by this date, your registration will be deleted, and you will not be able
to enroll in courses. Visit the Student
Finance section of Self-Service to make a payment online.
Payments from
international bank accounts must be made using Flywire. Instructions on how to
do so are available on Self-Service.
