Transportation to Campus

  • To make your arrival a smooth transition, please complete the Arrival Confirmation Form as soon as you have confirmed your travel arrangements.  This helps all of us better prepare to welcome you!

New students flying into the Erie International Airport between the dates of August 7-31 who have requested pick-up on the Arrival Confirmation Form will be met by Gannon volunteers and brought to the Campus Safety office.

Students flying into the Erie Airport prior to August 7, 2023 or who have not filled out the Arrival Confirmation Form will have to make your own travel arrangements from the airport to campus.  Please note - On Campus Residence Halls are NOT available prior to August 14, 2023 so we highly discourage arriving earlier than August 14 unless you are living off-campus.

Students who fly into other airports (Cleveland, Buffalo, Pittsburgh, etc.) must make their own travel arrangements to get to Erie. Driving directions to Erie are available here. The Greyhound Bus has a station in Erie.

If your travel plans change, please contact the OGSSE at globalsupport@gannon.edu or +1 814-871-7133.

Gannon Global Hosts will meet new students at Campus Safety to greet you and will have your keys and walk you to your Residence Hall. (You must have completed the on-campus housing application prior to arrival in order to move into on-campus housing).

If you have arranged for on-campus housing and you arrive to campus outside of normal business hours (Monday-Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM), please go to Campus Police and Safety, at 210 West 6th Street, or call them at +1 814 871 7690.
