Transfer Viewbook
We are excited you are considering Gannon University to complete your degree. As a transfer student, this is not the first time that you have been through the college admission process, but that does not mean you deserve any less attention. Whether you
are transferring from a two or four year institution, we want to assist in making your transition as smooth as possible.
Gannon will complete a thorough transcript evaluation to see what credits transfer in from any regionally accredited school. Courses that you have earned a C or better in at a regionally accredited institution will transfer in. As part of the evaluation,
Gannon will examine the specific coursework to determine how those credits will apply to your program's curriculum. The grades earned for transfer courses will not count towards your Gannon GPA. Don't forget to send in Advanced Placement (AP) scores,
dual enrollment college transcripts and International Baccalaureate (IB) transcripts as well if you have them.
If you would like to conduct a self-exploration on how your college credits may transfer into Gannon, we encourage you to visit
https://www.transferologylab.com/school/gannon. Once you create an account, you can plug in the courses you have completed to see
what they may transfer into Gannon as. In some cases, courses may not have a transfer equivalency developed yet, but that does NOT mean that they won’t transfer in. So, while it’s not a tool that will give you definitive answers, it’s a good place
to start and explore. If you have any questions, we would be happy to answer them at admissions@gannon.edu.
