Andrea N. Chandler

Hello, and welcome to my faculty profile!

I am passionate about nursing and assiting students with making connections between the content learned in lecture to what they are seeing in the clinical setting. I am currently a student myself. I am enrolled at Walden University working to earn my PhD in Nursing Education. I am working on completing my dissertation. My area of research involves trauma and women's experience with birth. Before I started at Gannon, I taught in a LPN program. I appreciate how the curriculum at Gannon allows students to dig deeper into patient problems and really facilatates the development of clinical judgment and critical thinking. I am married and have 2 children. We love all of the lfamily outing opportunities in the Erie community. Our favorites are the Erie Children's Museum, Erie Zoo, and Sisson's Pumpkin Patch. We also love to visit Presque Isle when the weather is nice.
