My ELL students have provided me with many more lessons than I could have ever taught them. Through working with my high school ELLs and my Gannon International students, I have traveled the world without ever leaving Erie! My travels began in January of 2001 when I met my first students at McDowell High School. The journey continues today with my Gannon International students. Each new session brings an opportunity to meet and support new students from all over the world as they take on the challenges of learning another language, living in a new country and furthering their careers. They are truly amazing and I am so very blessed to share these experiences with them.
When I am not at Gannon, my family and friends are the center of my world. I love cooking, gardening, quilting, knitting, learning about all things natural and healthy and most importantly, being "gg"" to my four grandchildren.
