Dr. Eliana Dobres is a board-certified audiologist and member of the Fellowship of the American Academy of Audiology (AAC). She is dedicated to improving communication and quality of life for individuals with hearing loss and tinnitus. Dr. Dobres earned both her bachelor’s in Speech and Hearing Science and Doctor of Audiology degree from The Ohio State University, and she holds a Certificate in Tinnitus Management from the American Board of Audiology.
In addition to teaching at Gannon, Dr. Dobres practices clinically at Erie Audiology, where she supports patients with hearing loss and tinnitus while collaborating with professionals across healthcare disciplines to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care. Her clinical passions include tinnitus management and emerging advancements in assistive technology, and she brings this expertise into the classroom to help students connect evidence-based knowledge with real-world clinical practice.
Dr. Dobres is committed to preparing future audiologists and in preparing future speech-language pathologists with the foundational knowledge and clinical insight they need to understand hearing disorders, support patients with hearing loss, and collaborate effectively with audiologists and interprofessional care teams.
