Dr. Galleher began her carreer as a faculty member at Gannon Univeristy Physical Therapy program in August of 1992.  She enjoys teaching students and assisting in the development of thier clinical skills in the musculoskeletal content.  Her love of teaching is centered on seeing the growth and development of students through the first year of the program. 

Dr. Galleher has many years of clinical expereince working in the outpatient orthopedic setting. She and her husband owned a private practice for 21 years.

Outisde of work, Dr. Galleher enjoys bocce, curling, golfing, kayaking and biking.

Dr. Galleher's research interests have included a focus on admissions and PT education including academic integrity, pro-bono student clinics and predictors of success in DPT programs. Additional research has focused on musculoskeletal prevention of injury/effectiveness of physical therapy including core strengthening and pelvic floor dysfunciton.

Current scholarly activity includes the following:
