  • Assistant Professor
    Communication and The Arts
  • Assistant Professor
    Theatre

MC Gensheimer started her career, in 9th grade, with a soldering gun, plaster of paris, yarn, a can of orange spray paint, and a camera.

Her photographic, sculptural, and graphic work has been accepted regionally for publication and gallery exhibits. A large set of angel wings appeared in the back seat of her green convertible- magically. They are now positioned at the west door of the Center for Communication and the Arts. Gabriel is the patron saint of Communication. This year she continued work with the Innovation and Creativity project on campus. Students built 5 whirly winged windmachines for placement around campus. The Digital Drawing course created a Gannon University coloring book. And her graphics courses create portfolios of raster and vector content for use on and off campus.

She currently serves as a member of the Gannon Wayfinding committee. This group works on Signage, Graphics and Art placement on Gannon's campus.  She is one of the shepherds for the University's painting collection- 15th and 16th century oil paintings.

She lives in Erie surrounded by art, with her husband and a dog named "Images Incredible Ironman", call name Griz.
