Angela Kelley earned her Bachelor of Science at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and then continued to Nashville, TN where she earned her Masters of Science in Medicine as a Physician Assistant. She is a bilingual practitioner, fluent in Spanish, who has practiced as a PA for 17 years in Family Practice, Urgent Care, Occupational Medicine and Women’s Health. Angela is also a Regional Director for Optavia where as a weight loss health coach, she helps many clients achieve optimal health through a structured meal planning system.  Angela has been published in eSpanglish magazine, where she discussed the signs and symptoms of the flu in both English and Spanish. She has also contributed publications for the company, Univadis, where she has brought to light cultural barriers in the treatment of diabetes, incorrect insulin injection techniques in diabetics, as well as urinary incontinence issues that affect the quality of life in women. Her most recent publication for LER magazine showcases information on the diagnosis, treatment and patient care information for diabetic foot ulcers. In her free time, Angela enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with her family.
