I've been working at Gannon since 2001 and absolutely love it.  I get to teach a broad range of cool courses, from Film classes to Native American Literature--and of course, my homeboy Shakespeare. I've shared Shakespearean fun with students from kindergarten to graduate school.

I've written two books on Shakes: Shakespeare's World: The Tragedies and William Shakespeare: Facts and Fictions

I love teaching both in English and in Fine Arts, and have directed and performed in numerous plays as well as the occasional film production.

I'm the Advisor for Sigma Tau Delta, the English Honor Society. We do fun stuff!

I've created and led over a dozen trips with students to international and domestic destinations including Greece, Italy, France, Spain, England, Wales, and the Navajo Nation.

I enjoy singing, playing, and writing songs, singing in my church choir, kayaking, and hiking with my dog Theo. Before a certain pandemic ruined most things, I had a band, Father Sage, that played at various venues around Pittsburgh, PA. Someday we'll rock again!
