Meet Carling Koester, M.S., CCC-SLP, a dedicated speech-language pathologist and member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) with more than a decade of experience supporting children with diverse communication needs in school settings across the Erie community. Now in her 11th year of practice, she brings a deep understanding of special education standards and an unwavering commitment to student success to every role she serves.
At Gannon University, Carling is consistently rated by students as an exceptional adjunct professor and clinical instructor. She teaches Counseling in Communication Disorders, mentors graduate clinicians at the Morosky Wellness Speech-Language Pathology Clinic, and serves as a clinical supervisor for second-year graduate students in off-site school placements. Known for seamlessly connecting real-world experience to classroom learning, she prepares future speech-language pathologists to practice with empathy, professionalism, and a strong foundation in evidence-based care.
Carling is energized by helping students grow into confident, compassionate clinicians and is proud to support the next generation of SLPs.
