Dr. Sarah Livick-Moses earned her B.A. in Literature and History from Hellenic College, a Master of Theological Studies at Boston College, and holds a PhD in Systematic Theology from Boston College. Her primary research fields in systematic theology include spirituality/mystical theology, Trinity and creation, and gender/sexuality. Her first monograph will explore the doctrines of Trinity and creation in Sergii Bulgakov's major theological writings, placing French psychoanalysis and ecological spirituality into conversation with Orthodox sophiology and iconography. Much of her recent work engages the intersection between theology, spirituality, and trauma.
Her work has been published in Modern Theology, Building the House of Wisdom: Sergii Bulgakov and Contemporary Theology (Aschendorff Verlag, 2024), and Orthodox Resources for Social Peace (Brill, forthcoming).
