Thanks for visiting my faculty profile page!
My name is Stephanie McElhaney and I am an instructor at Gannon University's Villa Maria School of Nursing. I began my undergraduate nursing career in this very same program, graduating in 2009 with a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing. Upon graduation, I immediately began working in a local Emergency Department where I learned many of the things I know now. Through this time in the Emergency Department I was able to achieve new additional certifications/courses and continue my life-long learning. Coniciding with my time in the ER, I returned to school to obtain my Master's of Science in Nursing at Gannon University. After almost 15 years in the Emergency Department, I made the transition to academia full-time. I have been at Gannon ever since and continue to work as a casual nurse in an Emergency Department.
