I first joined Gannon as the Clinical Education Coordinator for the Master of Athletic Training Program in 2021. In 2024, I transitioned into my current role as Program Director and Department Chair for Athletic Training. Prior to Gannon, I had seven years of experience as a program director for an undergraduate athletic training program and 13 years of experience as a high school athletc trainer. 

I enjoy coaching soccer at all levels and serving as the Scoutmaster for a local Boy Scout Troop. My biggest passion is my wife, Katie and our three children. My youngest will want me to add our pets as a passion as well.

Service is important to me. I am proud of the roles I have and contributions I have made in the community and in the field of athletic training. I strive to create an environment where students can feel the same way about themselves.

A far as teaching and learning in an Athletic Training Program, I believe in meeting students where they are to collaboratively get them where they need to be as healthcare professionals. We have designed a curricular program and created experiences centered around student learning and development. Our faculty and staff hope students in our program feel as though we have built a family-like environment and we are proud of the success of our graduates.
