Dr. Kathleen Weissburg, MS, OTD, OTR/L, CMDCP, CDP
Dr. Weissberg earned her MS in OT in 1993 and OTD in 2014) in her 25+ years of practice, she has worked in rehabilitation and long-term care as an executive, researcher, and educator. She has established numerous programs in nursing facilities; authored peer-reviewed publications on topics such as low vision, dementia quality care, and wellness; and has spoken at numerous national and international conferences for 20+ State Health Care Associations and 25+ state LeadingAge affiliates. Dr. Weissburg provides continuing education support to over 17,000 therapists, nurses, and administrators nationwide as National Director of Education for Select Rehabilitation. She is a Certified Dementia Care Practitioner, Certified Montessori Dementia Care Practitioner, and a Certified Matter of Balance Coach. She serves as the Region 1 Director for the American Occupational Therapy Association Political Action Committee (AOTPAC). She imparts her experience as an executive and a leader in contract rehabilitation in her course, Entrepreneurial Management Practices in Occupational Therapy, in Gannon's Post-Professional OTD Program.
