I am a Roman Catholic priest of the Diocese of Erie and have been a member of Gannon University’s Department of Theology for many years. I have been in the teaching ministry since my ordination. After being ordained a priest, I taught History at Cathedral Preparatory school in Erie for seven years, after which I came to Gannon and have been here since. I have taught both Graduate and Undergraduate courses and was Chairperson of the Department from 2006 to 2012. I still enjoy teaching the young women and men who come to Gannon and am especially grateful for their openness, good nature, and eagerness to learn. Finally, as a priest of the Erie Diocese, I have been Weekend Sacramental Assistant at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in Erie for over 20 years. It is a ministry which grounds my priestly identity and hopefully helps the parishioners grow in their faith.
