The Gannon Knight, a student news organization has been selected for a first-place award by the American Scholastic Press Association (ASPA). Based in New York, the ASPA
serves more than 2,000 schools nationally. The Gannon Knight was commended for its excellence in content and coverage. It also received a perfect score for creativity, which is an assessment of what the paper accomplishes relative to its budget, and
its uniqueness for the population it serves.
The Gannon Knight is published online 12 times per academic semester and covers campus news, features, arts and leisure, and sports. Read it here

Under The Arch is a podcast created and hosted by The Gannon Knight. Recorded weekly, the podcast includes news rundowns as well as specialized episodes that address topics relevant to the Gannon community.

90.5 WERG
90.5 WERG is Gannon University’s student-operated radio station, run through the Department of Theatre, Communication and Fine Arts. 90.5 WERG provides a healthy, creative, and stimulating
learning experience in broadcast operations and management while offering unique programming for Gannon and the Erie community.
90.5 WERG follows a Modern Rock format: artists like Coldplay, Adele, Mumford & Sons, Paramore, Arcade Fire, R.E.M., The Red Hot Chili Peppers, the Dave Matthews Band, Lenny Kravitz, Linkin Park, Death Cab for Cutie, Phoenix, M.G.M.T., and Foster the
People.
As a practical learning laboratory, students develop valuable skills like effective public speaking, creative writing, digital editing, software maintenance, and teamwork. Students also have the opportunity to augment their proficiency in managerial situations
by chairing various departments at WERG: programming, music, news, production, social media, and many other aspects that make up a successful broadcast operation.

Schuster Theatre
The Schuster Theatre is the performance venue for Gannon University's award-winning theatre program in the School of Communication and
the Arts. It produces more than 50 productions each year with participation open to both theatre majors and non-majors alike.
Schuster Gallery
The Schuster Art Gallery provides a venue for local and regional artists to display their work for the benefit of Gannon University
and the Erie Community. The gallery is located on the first floor of the Center for Communication and Arts.
