We are limited to only 50 students each year; therefore, we are looking for a diverse group of students from across all three Colleges to pursue a Minor in Innovation & Creativity (MIC - pronounced "Mike"). Since the MIC is done as a cohort (i.e., you will be taking all the courses together as a single group with the first course in the Fall Semester of your Freshman or Sophomore year and the final course taking place in the Fall Semester of your Junior or Senior year), we are looking for students who will be Freshmen or Sophomores in Fall 2022 and who are willing to commit to the full program starting by taking the first course, MIC 201 - The Launch (1 credit), in Fall 2022.
Selection Criteria
- Must be a Freshman or Sophomore in Fall 2022
- A balance of students across all three colleges (i.e., CEB, CHESS and MCHPS)
- NOTE: "Creativity" is not a criterion as the MIC is not only for self-identified "creatives" - it is for anyone who wants to develop skills in creative problem solving and collaborative innovation!
