Gannon University's Master of Physician Assistant Science Program at the Ruskin, Fla. Campus has received accreditation-continued status from the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant, Inc. The program has received accreditation-continued for the period of 10 years, extending to Sept. 2033.

Accreditation-continued is an accreditation status granted when a currently accredited program is in compliance with the ARC-PA Standards. Accreditation remains in effect until the program closes or withdraws from the accreditation process or until accreditation is withdrawn for failure to comply with the standards. Gannon is proud to share this significant achievement, which highlights the university’s dedication to providing an exceptional education in the field of physician assistant studies.

“It is very gratifying to receive 10 years of continuing accreditation, which is recognition of the quality of our program and the dedication of the Ruskin PA program’s faculty and staff,” said Founding Program Director Michele Roth-Kauffman, JD, PA-C.

The PA program is an integral part of the Gannon Ruskin Health Professions hub that includes the Doctor of Physical Therapy, which received initial accreditation in 2020; the Occupational Therapy Doctorate Program, which received initial accreditation in 2018; and the Masters in Speech-Language Pathology, which hopes to achieve full accreditation status later this fall.
