Fall Prevention Model at Local Non-Profit Equipment Exchange Program Utilizing the STEADI: a Compilation of Two Pilot Studies

Faculty from Gannon's DPT and OT programs - as well as two SPTs from the class of ‘23 - collaborated to create material on fall prevention at Chosen, a community-oriented organization that empowers universities, hospitals, churches, and individuals through the provision of community projects, campaigns, and healthcare items and surgical equipment that inspire overall wellness, rehabilitation, and mobility.

Their posted presentation was titled Fall Prevention Model at Local Non-Profit Equipment Exchange Program Utilizing the STEADI: a Compilation of Two Pilot Studies

Connie Lewis, PT, DPT and Karen Probst, OTD, OTR/L, CEAS presented their poster at The Gerontological Society of America in November and were one of just 28 invited to speak out of 1,587 posters.
