The Gannon community will observe the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with a series of events on campus and in the community. 

The MLK March will be held on Monday, January 15: gathering at Perry Square from 11 am with the march starting at noon. The march concludes at the MLK Center at W 4th and Chestnut Streets with a program hosted by the MLK Center and a soup/sandwich lunch hosted by Gannon University.

The Road to Freedom, presented by Key Arts Productions, will be held on Tuesday January 16 at 5:00 pm in the Yehl Ballroom. This dynamic, multimedia program is sponsored by Gannon’s Office of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion in celebration of Unity, Diversity and Peace.  

Programming note:

POSTPONED: The MLK Prayer Service on Monday at 7:00 PM in Mary, Seat of Wisdom Chapel is postponed to a later date. This service is planned by Campus Ministry featuring our own Dr. A’Darius Porter as the keynote speaker, joined by our Music Ministry with musicians from the community also participating under the direction of our own Bianca Morris. The Activities Programming Board is providing refreshments in Kraus Hall. Please watch for updates on when the service will take place.
