Easter hours of operation at Gannon University

The university will be closed for Easter break, March 28 through April 1, and will reopen Tuesday, April 2. Please see below for updates to hours and operations for our Ruskin and Erie campuses during this time. 

RUSKIN CAMPUS
The Ruskin campus, Fitness Center, and KnightBites Café will be closed for Easter break from March 28 to April 1.

April 2             Campus and Fitness Center reopen from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (No classes)
April 3            KnightBites Café open 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Fitness Center returns to normal hours

ACADEMIC BUILDINGS, ERIE
All academic buildings will be locked beginning the evening of Wednesday, March 27 through the morning of Tuesday, April 2.

Zurn Science Center
Will be unlocked from 5 to 7:30 p.m. on Friday, March 29 for walking Stations of the Cross from Zurn to Mary, Seat of Wisdom Chapel (weather permitting). It will also be unlocked for 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. Easter Sunday masses.

GANNON PRESS & MAILROOM
The Gannon Press and Mailroom will be closed Thursday, March 28 through Monday, April 1 in accordance with the university holiday. For any additional questions or to make arrangements for any special shipments, please email Matt Blumer at Blumer002@gannon.edu.

HEALTH & COUNSELING CENTER
The Health & Counseling Center will be closed from Thursday, March 28 to Monday, April 1. You can also use the following resources during this time: 

  • Medical emergencies: Contact Gannon Police & Safety at 814-871-7777 and they will contact emergency medical services. 
  • Non-urgent medical concerns: Use the following link to be seen by a provider now, using Gannon's 24/7 TimelyCare services https://timely.md/GU24/7care or Email health@gannon.edu and you will be contacted upon our opening and during regular business hours.
  • Mental health emergencies: Call Crisis Services at 814-456-2014, or call/text 988. 
  • Non-urgent mental health concerns: Email counseling@gannon.edu?and you will be contacted during regular business hours, or utilize TalkNow on the TimelyCare app or website for on-demand access to a therapist

Over the university break, all PCR Covid-19 sample collection and testing will cease as well and will resume upon the university's reopening.

ITS HELP DESK 
The ITS Help Desk will be closed Thursday March 28 through Monday April 1. Technicians will be available in the Palumbo Center office for walk-in, phone, and ticketing requests between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 2. Telephone support is available at any time 24/7 using the number 814-871-7501.

KNIGHT WATCH VAN
The Knight Watch van will operate from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m. Monday, March 24. There will be no service from Tuesday, March 25 through Wednesday, April 3. Service will resume service at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 4.

METZ DINING

RESIDENCE LIFE
Residence halls will be closed from Wednesday, March 27 at 5 p.m. to Tuesday, April 2 at 8 a.m. The Office of Residence Life will be closed Thursday, March 28 and will reopen on Tuesday, April 2.

STORE U-KNIGHTED PANTRY
The Store U-Knighted Food Service will be open Monday, March 25 by appointment only. It will be open from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, March 26 and Wednesday, March 27. It will be closed Thursday, March 28 through Monday, April 1. In an emergency situation, please email storeuknighted@gannon.edu.
