A partnership between DSB and CED leads to the launch of a Professional Academy series for DSB students
The Dahlkemper School of Business is committed to providing students with opportunities to develop the skills, capabilities, industry worldview, and credentials to be successful in today’s competitive business marketplace. Dr. Amy Doolan, Associate Dean of the Dahlkemper School of Business (DSB), and Dr. Alyson Eagle, Assistant Director of Employer Relations with the Office of Career Exploration and Development (CED), partnered to further this effort for DSB students and now excitedly announce the launch of the DSB/CED Professional Academies.
Professional Academies are designed to provide students the opportunity to engage more fully with their discipline, to both support and supplement what they are learning in the classroom. Academies are taught by industry partners, so students also can build/grow their professional networks while obtaining hands-on, industry-specific skills training.
Up to ten students, after a competitive selection process, will participate in the Finance Professional Academy. It will run as a series of three workshops over the Fall 2024 semester and be led by our industry partner, Tyler Williams, VP of Northern Complex at Equitable Advisors.
