- A 100% job placement for graduates in Journalism, Theology, and Advertising Communication while History, Psychology, Philosophy, Legal Studies, Social Work, and Criminal Justice graduates have job placement rates that exceed 80%.
- Study Abroad Programs that can take you to Jordan, Thailand, Spain, Chile, Ireland, and beyond.
- A professional development school operated by the School of Education where college students take classes and work with elementary school students in the elementary school.
- A student-run radio station (WERG) recently (2021) voted the best college radio station in the country by the Intercollegiate Broadcasting System
- A fully equipped Forensic Investigation Center where crimes are enacted and students use their investigative skills to discover what happened.
- A literary magazine, Totem, which has been voted "First Place with Special Merit" and "Outstanding Creative Binding" by the American Scholastic Press Association.
