Adult Orientation

    Congratulations on your decision to join the Gannon Family! As an Adult Learner, we recognize you have important priorities that are accompanying your educational goals. Gannon University is excited to walk with you in your path toward degree attainment.

    New adult learners and their guests/families will be welcomed into the Gannon family through an Adult Orientation program on August 8, 2023 from 8:30 a.m. - noon where you will engage first-hand with the staff and services you will need to have a successful transition into the University.

    Adult Orientation includes an opportunity to tour campus, get your student ID, get your laptop set up if needed, and purchase your textbooks.

    • 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. - Life as a Knight | Palumbo Academic Center - Room 2023 
      A brief overview of our technology platforms such as Blackboard and the Gannon portal
    • 10:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. - Intro to Gannon | Various Locations
      An opportunity to tour the campus, get your Student ID, course schedule, purchase books, and   visit the Commuter Corner and Adult/Veteran Lounges
