Helpful and nurturing, Becky Sheehan has dedicated her life to improving others’ lives. Hailing from Niagara Falls, New York, she came to Gannon in pursuit of a five-year Master’s degree in the university’s Physician Assistant Program. Attempting to become active within her field of study, Becky joined GUSPAS: Gannon University Society of Physician Assistant Students. This spirit of involvement would follow her through graduation and into her career, as today, she holds membership in both the WNYPAA (Western New York Physician Assistant Association) and AAPA (American Academy of Physician Assistants).
Becky’s time spent at Gannon was highlighted by her experiences within the Phi Sigma Sigma sorority and the women’s softball team. Dedicating much of her time between the two, she also slipped into her schedule Pep Band, membership into Rho Lambda, and inclusion in the Gannon Honors Program. Though seemingly hectic, it all paid off because today, Becky has “been working as a physician assistant for the past seven years” at Ronald Clarke, D.O., providing healthcare to patients ranging in age from newborns to over 100 years old.
Outside of work, Becky still enjoys playing softball several nights per week, as well as partaking in other sports-related activities like volleyball and cheering on all Western New York teams (and the Yankees). Wine tours, concerts, and skiing define her nights off.
