Mr. Walsh received his Bachelor of Science in Therapeutic Recreation at Gannon University, where he was a 4-year letterman on the Golden Knights football team. In addition, Mr. Walsh received his Master of Physical Therapy degree from Old Dominion University and his Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas at El Paso.
Mr. Walsh is currently the General Manager and Full Partner, Atlantic Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation in Berlin, Maryland. He has served in the US Army as a commissioned officer in the Medical Specialist Corps from 1997 to 2005. In addition, he was the Founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Healthcare Education Associates, Inc. (HEA). Mr. Walsh founded HEA to serve as the gateway for evidence-based physical therapy seminars.
Mr. Walsh is one of 152 physical therapists in the entire United States who are dual board certified in Orthopedic and Sports Physical Therapy by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. His clinical interests include orthopedics, sports medicine, spine care and clinical business management.
Mr. Walsh has held various academic positions, including an adjunct faculty position at the University of Texas at El Paso and clinical faculty privileges at Texas Tech, El Paso Community College, Baylor University and the Medical College of Virginia. Mr. Walsh has remained involved with Gannon through his direct support of the Gannon University football team. In 2007, he made a gift that will assist football athletes for years to come.
He and his wife Kimberlie, a Family Physician, along with their three children, Kira, Matthew, and Jacob, live in Dover, Delaware.
