Tell us about your GU Love Story:

Abigail and Chris met during their freshman year at Gannon. Chris lived in Finegan Hall while Abigail dormed at Wehrle. She was studying in Finegan with some fellow classmates for an upcoming Accounting exam when Chris introduced himself. Infatuated from the beginning, the rest is history! They dated throughout their years at Gannon, married in 2010, and now have three children: Derrek (8), Jack (6) and Audrey (2).

What are you doing now?

Chris is a border patrol agent with the Department of Homeland Security. He currently works out of the Buffalo Sector Headquarters as the sector training coordinator for all border patrol agents throughout the sector. He was named Employee of the Year in 2017.

Abigail is an instructional coach with the Buffalo Public Schools. She works in an elementary school setting, focusing on enhancing teacher instruction and strengthening educational strategies for use in the classrooms. She received a Teacher of the Year Award in 2013.

Memories:

Chris was on the Gannon Wrestling team and won his match at “The War on the Shore” during his senior year. The Wolski’s cherish the memories they made with friends and teammates. Chris especially enjoys participating in the annual Wrestling Golf Scramble and re-connecting with his Gannon friends.

Advice:

“Be honest and truthful no matter how tough the truth may be to share with the other person.”
