Elliot Ehrenreich graduated from Gannon in 2002 with a Bachelor's degree in communications. In 2005, he earned his Juris Doctor from Duquesne University School of Law and joined attorneys Knox McLaughlin Gornall & Sennett, P.C., concentrating his practice on health law, business acquisitions and financings, as well as general business and commercial transactions. He has had several accomplishments including negotiating and closing a restaurant franchise deal with operating locations in New York and Missouri and obtaining multiple expedited tax exemptions for charitable organizations.
During his time at Gannon, Elliot was a member of the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity, WERG-FM, and the men’s soccer team. He remembers fondly Greek Week and Gannon’s Power Room student lounge. “The liberal arts education provided me the ability to look at an issue from various viewpoints and to think critically about it,” he notes.
Elliot is co-chair of the Erie County Bar Association’s Commercial Law Division; a member of the National Association of Bond Lawyers, Pennsylvania Association of Bond Lawyers, and the American Health Lawyers Association; and is admitted to all courts of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, and the U.S. Tax Court.
He advises those currently in the educational system to “major in something you love, learn to speak well in public and to communicate effectively in writing.”
