An avid sports fan, Ryan played the cornerback position for Gannon’s football team during all four years of his stay at the university. “The people that I’ve met and all of the opportunities that Gannon provided have prepared me well for the future,” he states.
Today, Ryan is a financial advisor at Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith, Inc. in Erie, Pennsylvania after recently moving to the city from upstate New York. He holds membership to the Lancaster Chamber of Commerce and the Lancaster Rotary Club, and is a board member for the Buffalo Pro Zoo Board, as well as the Lancaster Academy of Finance.
“Gannon was a tremendous experience,” he mentions. “Keep an open mind and learn as many different things as possible so that you will be able to make informed decisions about your future and where you want to be.”
